Founded in 1984, SOS Food Lab was the first manufacturer of food rations in North America. While our roots are in the Marine industry, SOS Food Lab has established itself as the premier provider of emergency and survival food and water for the general preparedness market as well. In order to serve this market better, SOS Food Lab acquired the Survivor Industries line of products in 2018, making us the market leader in North America. Wholesome, Raw ingredients To this day, we remain the only manufacturer of emergency food rations that prepares each batch using wholesome, raw ingredients in our Miami headquarters. We maintain modern manufacturing and distribution centers on the east & west coasts of the United States, strategically located near modern international seaports to ensure that shipments go out daily, without fail. We work with 200+ distributors worldwide to further ensure supplies remain available year-round, around the globe, and provide our clients with private label options as well. Our facilities meet the unofficial industry “gold standard” set by the Coast Guard, and our manufacturing process and products currently hold eleven certifications (see list below), with more on the way. We are also the only emergency food and water manufacturer with a dedicated Test Kitchen enabling us to quickly formulate custom recipes for both water and food products.
