Golight, headquartered in rural Southwest Nebraska, is a company that, for over twenty-five years, has been designing lights that are preferred by professionals for a multitude of applications. Golight is a manufacturer of intensely bright remote-control spotlights. Their spotlights rotate 370° with a 135° tilt. The immediate implication for drivers is that they can operate the light from the truck or any position outside the vehicle. Golight offers two remote control product lines in either Halogen or LED with candela ratings up to 544,000 with a Max Beam Distance of 4,839 ft. LEDs have an extremely long-life span, up to 50,000 hrs. And, when harnessed effectively, LEDs can provide an incredibly intense light source. By comparison to traditional light sources such as halogen, LEDs are very efficient regarding power consumption versus light output.
